Kurzfassung:
Ad hoc coupling of phenomenological multi-physics laws often compromises thermodynamic consistency. The Generalized Standard Materials framework offers a unified variational formulation, ensuring compliance by construction. Legendre transforms provide different energy forms for strain- or stress-driven settings. A symbolic-to-numerical workflow derives constitutive laws and enables thermodynamically constrained, physics-informed ML.
