Kurzfassung:
This paper presents a method for identifying member axial forces in existing space truss structures from modal tests integrating artificial neural networks within an optimization framework. The approach improves force estimation accuracy and addresses limitations of previous methods. Validation through numerical simulations and experimental tests on a 3 m × 2 m 3D truss confirms its reliability for structural integrity assessment.
